I'm sure I could think of more examples but give enough data points about what you do, & they will be able to predict what you will do to a disturbing degree, especially given the extent to which most of have lives which follow clear & well defined repeating patterns. Just at a glance - someone could determine information ranging from what banks I do business with, which doctors I visit & how frequently, when I do laundry, & when I'm most likely to visit Costco.Īnd that is without considering the information that could be derived by how long it takes for me to complete tasks, & which tasks I tend to procrastinate.

While the information I put in any individual task is of limited concern, the compounding effect of the information in each additional task rapidly starts to create a pool of data which justifies serious privacy concerns. There are also fairly significant privacy concern. I have no need to even go back that far, & so there is no reason to preserve that data.

I'm not the OP but I'd love a setting where any completed tasks are wiped after say 30 days.
